Summer campaign starts with big win

With recently promoted Watton already having lost their first two match's in the league and by big margins their visit to Kett's Park would not have installed a lot of hope of them geting anything and so this proved. Pat Saunders, Debbie Sparham and Jack Pye won 29-7 while Brian Saunders, John Jeffery and Chris Mann won 30-4. After the break Hayley Stratton replaced Brian Saunders at lead with John and Chris as they won 20-9. Jack Marshall made his welcome debut and certainly impressed with Debbie and Jack as they reeled off a huge 35-2 win to leave Watton already cut adrift at the bottom. This was a good but expected start for new captain Jack Pye but with players like Mark Linsdell and Jon Sparham not playing this summer Bob Carter will still be the team to beat with their dominate performance at Watton already. The teams new shirts were on show for the first time thanks to the sponsorship of the Wymondham Vetinary Clinic.
