Wymondham 10 (108) v Careton Rode 0 (42) - 13/12/21

Mike Newby, Terry Newby and Karl Newby of Carleton Rode were the only triple who looked likely to cause an upset as they led 6-10 after eight ends against Hayley Osborne, John Jeffery and Chris Mann. But the home triple hit back and played much better to put pressure on the Rode triple and paid off as they picked up 22 shots over the last eight ends to win 28-12. Steve Easter, Melvyn Barker and Debbie Sparham eased to a 23-9 win to complete a good first half. The second half got even better as Jack Marshall, Andrew Jackson and Jon Sparham cruised to a 33-11 victory while Billie Barker, Simon Warnes and Jack Pye won 24-10.

Shropham 0 (45) v Wymondham 10 (76) - 08/12/21

On mat 1 Hayley Osborne, Owen Cranston and Chris Mann won 20-10 against skip Dennis Green and his triple who played well in large parts of the match. The Shropham triple had led 5-6 and only trailed by one after nine ends at 10-9. From there however the Wymondham triple pulled away winning six of the remaining seven ends. On mat 2 David Chadwick, John Jeffery and Jon Sparham were again made to work for their win as both triples won eight ends a piece. David Chadwick enjoyed a strong match at lead with two fours scored in the match making the difference with the Wymondham block leading 14-7 after eleven ends and from there just singles being scored over the last five ends. On mat 4 Billie Barker, Simon Warnes and Debbie Sparham were involved in the tightest match of the night and had to come from behind on the very last to snatch a one shot win. Being 7-11 down with six ends to go the triple still trailed 12-15 with an end to go after a contentious decision where the Shropham skip claimed an extra shot was socred on an earlier end. This only made the triple more determined and with last bowl in hand Deb managed to take the lone Shropham bowl out of the head to claim four shots. On mat 4 Steve Easter, Melvyn Barker and Jack Pye played well and on their way picked up six shots on end seven to finish comfortable winner by 24-10.

Wymondham 10 (99) v Forncett 0 (34) - 29/11/21

Both first session displays provided one sided wins with Steve Easter, Melvyn Barker and Debbie Sparham winning 30-4 while Mary Fisher, Andrew Jackson and Chris Mann produced a 33-5 win. Forncett faired much better in the second half with both match's sharing the number of ends won to eight a piece. It was the home sides start on both games which ultimately saw them win both match's. Billie Barker, Jack Marshall and Jon Sparham led 12-4 against J. Smail, N. Youngman and P. Lock at the halfway stage but Forncett battled back to win six of the remaining eight ends to see them only go down by 16-12. It was a similar story on the other mat as Hayley Osborne, Simon Warnes and Jack Pye went into a 13-3 lead picking up two fives which again saw the match already slip away from M. Humphreys. E. Coleman and R. Humphreys. Again the Forncett triple rallied late on but eventually went down 20-13.

Connaught B 0 (29) v Wymondham 10 (84) - 21/11/21

David Chadwick, Owen Cranston and Chris Mann were involved in the tightest match of the night where two ends made life more difficult for the Wymondham triple that it needed to be. After leading 10-3 after ten ends, a dropped three then five on ends eleven and thirteen made the score 12-12 but came through the remaining ends 2-1 to win 14-13. Billie Barker, Simon Warnes and Debbie Sparham produced a measured performance to steadily build a lead and concede on only five ends to win 16-6.

The second half saw both Wymondham triples in great form to blow both opponents away. Hayley Osborne, Andrew Jackson and Jon Sparham won 24-7 while Steve Easter, Jack Marshall and Melvyn Barker cruised to a 30-3 to continue the clubs brilliant start to the league.

Wymondham 10 (97) v Thetford 0 (30) - 08/11/21

Mary Fisher, Owen Cranston and Chris Mann eased to a 23-11 win while David Chadwick, Andrew Jackson and Jon Sparham won 20-6. The biggest win of the night came from Hayley Osborne, Simon Warnes and Melvyn Barker as they romped to a 38-5 victory. Steve Easter, Jack Marshall and Debbie Sparham had a tougher encounter but came through with a 16-8 win to complete another maximum points haul at home.

Connaught A 2 (47) v Wymondham 8 (66)- 03/11/21

Hayley Osborne, Andrew Jackson and Chris Mann beat Di Quadling, O. Secker and M. Minshull 16-10. After leading 8-1 after just four ends the triple did enough to keep the Connaught triple at arms length after that and saw out the win with some good play by Hayley at lead throughout. Laura Hawksworth, Jack Marshall and Debbie Sparham found the going tougher early on but managed to come through in the later exchanges of the match winning five of the last six ends. Having led 11-6 Connaught replied to trail 11-9 but from there it was mostly one way traffic as they won 18-10 to take a 4-0 win at half time with fourteen shots in hand.

Billie Barker, John Jeffery and Jon Sparham started well in their match with five shots scored on end two and from there controlled most of the match only letting Connaught score on five ends. D. Liles, R. Taylor and S. Bragg did rallly late on scoring a 1,4,1 to trail by just 13-10 but this was not enough to overturn the big deficit early on as the Wymondham triple won 17-10. Steve Easter, Owen Cranston and Melvyn Barker were arguably up against Connaught's strongest triple of the night as they faced Mike Parsons, Richard Harrison and Simon Willies. The lead did change several times throughout the match, as both triples showed their qualities, but a dropped five on end nine did not help matters for the Wymondham block even though they managed to win the next three ends to lead again at 13-12. With both triples tied at 15-15 Connaught took their only win of the night with a brace to 15-17.

Wymondham 10 (135) v Hingham 0 (22) - 25/10/21

Mary Fisher, Andrew Jackson and Chris Mann led the way with the clubs second biggest recoreded win over sixteen ends with 50-2 win. Billie Barker, Simon Warnes and Debbie Sparham also showed little mercy adding a big 34-3 victory that looked to be heading them to the clubs biggest ever winning margin, however Hingham fought back to stem the shot count. David Chadwick, John Jeffery and Jon Sparham won 24-8 while Hayley Osborne, Steve Easter and Melvyn Barker recorded a 27-9 victory.

Wymondham 10 (117) v Harling Griffins 0 (24) - 18/10/21

The first session saw Mary Fisher, Jack Marshall and Chris Mann beat J. Neave, D. Hunt and G. Cody 36-7 while David Chadwick, Andrew Jackson and Jon Sparham completed a great first half winning 33-2 over V. Smith, C. Hayman and P. Hyam. The second session saw Val Vardy, Simon Warnes and Jack Pye win 19-11 over J. Hayman, S. Bettis and G. Hume. Steve Easter, Mel Barker and Debbie Sparham completed the evening with a 29-4 victory over R. Newman, V. Easter and G. Hume.

Harling Unicorns 0 (41) v Wymondham 10 (72) - 13/10/21

David Chadwick, Laura Hawksworth and Jon Sparham did just enough to beat M. Tarrant, D. Braham and M. Tarrant. The match could of gone either way with the lead changing between the two triples. Sparham's triple had led 12-7 but Harling rallied to lead 13-14 with two ends remaining but four shots picked up on the penaltimate end ultimately got Wymondham the win by on shot at 17-16. Hayley Osborne, Owen Cranston and Chris Mann beat L. Chilvers, N. Battley and  R. Braham 18-5 but that could of been a different story had Chris not drawn shot on the first end when five down. From there Owen played well at two and Chris was doing enough to extend their lead and run out comfortable winners.

Second session saw Billie Barker, John Jeffery and Debbie Sparham beat J. Kendall, R. Beckford and I. Beckford 19-9. Trailing 1-7 after five ends the triple made a great comeback to win the last six ends to win in style. Steve Easter, Jack Marshall and Melvyn Barker beat G. Messent, G. Whetton and D. Ryder 18-11. The opening ends saw the Wymondham triple establish a 6-3 lead but the four ends Harling won up to end thirteen only saw them trail 11-9. Ends fourteen and fifteen finally put the match to bed with a three then four picked up to seal the 10-0 win.
